2021.10.20 03:02 Foxshadow7 All of the Past 1st Runner-Ups Have Recently Released New Music

The Masked Singer has been a very obvious way for many musicians that aren’t the most current to advertise their new projects, but no complaints here since we get to see talented artists that are often under our radar giving us awesome performances on this addicting show.
It’s pretty cool and kinda coincidental that all 5 of them have dropped albums or a new song around the same time. They were amazing during their season of TMS and should get some support for their hard work and talent:
Peacock/Donny Osmond: released his 65th studio album: Start Again on September 10th
RottweileChris Daughtry: his band, Daughtry, released their 6th studio album: Dearly Beloved on September 17th.
Turtle/Jesse McCartney: released his 5th studio album: New Stage on October 8th.
Aloe Blacc/Mushroom: released a cover of Lionel Richie’s, “All Night Long” on October 11th. The only one of this group to not release a whole album recently (but he did last October, his 5th studio album: All Love Everything)
Black Swan/Jojo: released her 6th studio album: Trying Not to Think About It on October 1st.

2021.10.20 03:02 yokesh351 Empowered Women's NFTs Aim to Boost Female Participation in the Cryptocurrency Space

The artists are creating NFT to empower women around the world, proving that the cryptocurrency sector is not a club only for men.
The market for non-fungible tokens, or NFTs, digital artworks is taking on the traditional art industry. In the first six months of 2021, analytics company DappRadar recorded $ 2.5 billion in NFT sales , showing a significant increase from $ 13.7 million in sales during the same time period in 2020. Christie's auction house reported $ 93.2 million in NFT sales during the first half of 2021. In addition to impressive sales, the NFT marketplace, OpenSea, which reportedly hosts 98% of the market-wide transactions, recorded $ 4,000. million in NFT's trading volume during August of this year.
Although the rise of blockchain-based digital artworks is remarkable, many of the artists responsible for creating today's most sought-after NFTs are men. For example, digital artist Mike Winkelmann (better known as "Beeple") made NFT history by selling "Everydays: The First 5000 Days" for more than $ 69 million on Christies . Platinum musician "Two Feet" and acclaimed 18-year-old visual artist FEWOCiOUS also made headlines after selling four NFT collaborative artworks for more than $ 1 million. It was also momentous to see that the Argentine designer Andrés Reisinger sold ten pieces of virtual furniture for almost USD 70,
Women aspire to change "crypto bros" culture through NFTs While the ratio of men to women in the NFT remains unclear, statistics show that there are far fewer women than men in the crypto sector overall. For example, a recent survey conducted by cryptocurrency exchange company Gemini found that only 26% of women own crypto . Although this is the case, the report also noted that more women than men indicated their willingness to get involved in cryptocurrencies in the near future.
For this reason, it is important to note that several female artists began creating NFT projects to show the growing female participation, while seeking to attract more women to the cryptocurrency sector.
Lavinia Osbourne, founder of the "Women in Blockchain Talks" community, told the development of NFT sector may be more attractive to different genres as it focuses on creativity:
"Learning new words like DeFi, blockchain and cryptocurrency wallets, let alone understanding these terms, takes a lot of energy and time. The art, on the other hand, is much more attractive. Many people may not understand what an NFT development is and how it works. , but they know art and they know how to be creative. "
Speaking of Osbourne, Maliha Abidi, an artist, author and activist, told Cointelegrah that her passion for digital media initially attracted her to the world of NFTs. Abidi explained that she has been campaigning for women's rights through her artwork since 2012, but after learning about NFTs, she created a project called "Women Rise."
According to Abidi, Women Rise is a unique collection of 10,000 NFTs featuring women activists, artists, scientists, coders, and more. The project's mission is "to see women rise on the blockchain." Abidi added:
"I wanted to make sure that I started my NFT journey by celebrating women in the real world. This project is not just about ethnic diversity, but also about cultural diversity, religious diversity, and diversity in terms of the fields in which women are involved. women are breaking the glass ceiling. It is also an extension of the work that I have been doing for the last nine years. "
Abidi is scheduled to officially launch the Women Rise project in late November this year, around the same time as the United Nations 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence campaign, scheduled for November 25. "Art is a very important part of this project, but it is also about activism and highlighting the role that women play in real life," said Abidi.
Abidi also noted that what he is most excited about is the project's plan to give back to a number of organizations with which he has worked for years. For example, he said that 24% of the proceeds will be donated to schools in Afghanistan to support female education.

2021.10.20 03:02 Babbledoodle Sideboarding Questions - R/B Madness vs. Sultai Zubera

So my roommate and I've started playing pauper together, and the list I made him is noticeably a cut above the list I brewed, as zuberas is an actual thing while RB madness is much more fringe, and I just have some sideboarding questions. We've only played 4 games so far, but the only ones I won were when he took an awful hand and another where he made several late misplays that let me get exact lethal.
I'm curious if there are any things I can do to make the games a little more even, such as my SB choices or if I should include something that's not there (beyond basic advice on playing vs. zuberas, which is appreciated as well).

Currently, I think subbing out the following is what's best:
- chainers edict, dark withering x3, lightning axe x2, macabre waltz
+ fiery cannonade, REB x2, faerie macabre x2, divest, duress
Also, I'm unsure if I should sub out something for lightning bolt because always needing to discard for fiery temper seems like a tall ask, especially if I don't have outlets on the field.
Thanks!
P.S. Hats off to the zubera guy on here, forgot his name, but his list is absolute filth haha. In my tweaking the list I eventually got it to the point where I realized I was all but copying his list, and man does it work

2021.10.20 03:02 Square-Sky5362 Should I (21F) worry about how my bf (21M) and I have differnt views on marriage and kids?

I really like my bf and care a lot about him, but he adamantly does not want kids and is also against marriage. I, on the other hand, want to get married if I find someone I want to spend the rest of my life with, and have kids, if possible.
I feel as though I am too young to worry about this, but at the same time, there seems to be no future to look forward to.
Am I wasting my time, or should I simply enjoy the moment?

2021.10.20 03:02 marcm6246 CBD for morning anxiety after waking up??

Hey guys. So i'll just put a disclaimer... I've never once consumed ANY marijuana products so i'm a total newbie when it comes to this stuff. So your advice is definitely needed.
Lately i've been struggling with morning anxiety. My body has gotten into an annoying habit of waking me up an hour before my alarm goes off and bringing on anxiety symptoms while i'm half-asleep. Needless to say, it's really annoying and gets my day started on the wrong foot. And it lingers for a while before wearing off.
Before I pursue any medical/pharmaceutical interventions, I was wondering if this might be something CBD could help me with. I live in Ontario, Canada so I can acquire CBD products easily. But since I know absolutely nothing about CBD, that's where I could use your help. If any of you take CBD for anxiety, do you think it would help with what i'm experiencing? And if so, what kind of CBD product should I get and how much of it should I take since i'm just starting out?
How long would it last in my system? I only get this anxiety issue in the hour before I wake up... So would it be possible to take CBD before bed or would it be better to take it when I wake up before the anxiety symptoms crank up?
Thank you guys so much!

2021.10.20 03:02 augustine1121212 Building Economy: the decentralized perspective of mixed reality

Here's a question: what will happen to you, if the rest of the world starts devaluing you? The scenario will go something like this: you'll not get what you deserve against what you give. This will most easily translate into you getting underpaid for your job. And, the demand for your skillset will go down so much that no one will want to pay for your services. This is how jobs became obsolete. This is what happened to stenographers after recording devices came out and became available for the mass. Another interesting example, which might surprise you a little is that 'knocking up' used to be paid job to remind people about events. People used to book knocker ups to remind themselves of anything! And then, one fine morning, the alarm clock came and knocker ups went to the high school history books. So, a few insights that we can draw out from this are:

  1. You need to stay 'valuable' to survive the game.
  2. Technology has multiple records of having devoured an existing job or skill set.
The advancements in technologies cannot be stopped, and they shouldn't. This statement might raise the classic debate of whether technology is a blessing or a curse! But, whatever the conclusion of that debate may be, it can be firmly said that technologies are here to increase productivity. So, if a new technology doesn't show any potential for increasing productivity or value generation, people will reject it.
In the case of new technologies, another socio-structural problem arises. Business giants take over all new technologies and build a monopoly over them. When it comes to the internet, you know exactly who is being addressed here: think of a day on the internet without Google, Facebook, or Amazon.
Internet is a vast technology, which came into the field of communication, and is now hijacked by the notorious three mentioned above. They are making the maximum profit out of it because they have set the rules of trading over the internet. And now, every time you build your own business on the internet, the rules make sure that you pay them profits - one way or another.
This is the reason why a decentralized system of value creation is much needed. A decentralized system belongs to the users who contribute to it and take part in it. Not a central authority that takes away all the profits.
So, if you are looking for a perfect space for generating value, a decentralized space like Tiluf, which has various ways of value creation, is something you'd like to try. The use of mixed reality technologies, such as AR and VR, lets you create your own mixed reality experience which you can offer to others in return for crypto coins. Here, you can grow by your creativity. If the demand to experience your reality rises, it will make the whole system more valuable - and you'll be responsible for the rise in the value of a coin. Other aspects of value creation lie in trading 3d models to enter realities, enriching a 3d model with mixed reality videos, an immutable record of provenance, running nodes (crypto mining), and so many other community-based supports.
Letting people build mixed reality-based small economies in a decentralized way, and grow from there, is what Tiluf's ecosystem provides. Economies can be created in numerous ways inside a mixed reality session, because these realities let the user roleplay anyone or anything, and interact socially with others in a completely different place.
So, are you interested in creating your own economy? Or confused how exactly it'll work? Just hop into our discord channel and tell us how what you're thinking!

2021.10.20 03:02 spacefish420 Who’s the most famous/best jazz musician you’ve had the opportunity to play with and what did you learn from them?

Title says it all, just curious to see who you guys have gotten to play with and what you learned from playing with them? Feel free to brag all you want this is what this post is for.
As for myself back in high school Melissa Aldana came to work with our jazz band and did a show with us. As far as what I learned from her was how important your ear really is. She told us about how she learned saxophone without knowing how to read music very well and did all her practice by ear and did not properly learn to read until she got to berklee. I found it crazy at the time how she was able to solo on our pieces without even looking at the charts and create beautiful lines with eyes closed and just used her ears. It personally made me think about how I need to get my eyes off the paper and hear the music instead.
